For serious competitors, a rear winch can be an essential piece of equipment, and mounting that winch properly is more than just a matter of looks.
The D44 competition cross member has been designed and tested in the harshest of conditions off road, and provides a tough, strong way to mount a rear winch.
The rear crossmember must be welded to the vehicle chassis rails, and replaces the standard item completely. The winch mounts in a purpose-made cradle and simply bolts into place.
The crossmember also features two integral recovery eyes for winching and towing, and wrap around ends to protect the rear tub.
Cutting of the floor is required to fit the winch, and cutting of the rear side panels is required to accomodate the wrap-around ends.
Please note : Cross member must be welded to the chassis rails. This must be carried out by a competant welder. The effectiveness of this item depends on the strength of attachment to the vehicle
