D2 Rear Door Stay/Assist

As many Discovery 2 owners will know, the original door stay leaves a little to be desired.  Especially when used on rough terrain the door does not stay open.

D44 has the solution for this-

This design retains the original check strap, adding an adjustable gas strut. This assists the door and will keep it open.

The gas strut is supplied at the maximum pressure, designed to be adjusted with the Allen key supplied.

This allows you to tailor the weight of your door to your personal preference.

All brackets are supplied black powder-coated and fittings are included.

This kit will require the drilling of the rear door to fit rivet nuts (tool included).

Some trimming of the interior is required.

Please note This item does not fit with D44 D2 Window guards

**To ship this item internationally, the gas strut will need to be degassed.**
