Range Rover Bobtail / Bobtailing
Armed with a 9 inch disc cutter I cut off the rear of the chassis. Once this was out of the way I then cut off the rear body section. It had been decided that we would remove 17.5 inches from the rear body work leaving a small overhang behind the rear wheels.
To retain as much strength as possible we over lapped the join when we re fitted the rear end taking care to ensure every thing was kept square. We then re fitted the rear end frame work. Next it was time to put it in the yard so that we can view our handy work and check that it looks right.
