and the heater as the inner wing tube will foul the top of the heater.
To get around this problem we cut off the top of the heater

and then fabricated a new plate which was riveted in place

Next came the panel work, this is a time consuming affair rather than difficult, we started off with the nose panels, these were made using 2mm alloy sheet lightly rolled at the top and then we added the original LR light mounts and series 3 head light surrounds.
