110 Trayback / Raised Air Intake
My next task was the raised air intake; this is a job that requires patience and a bit of piece and quiet, in other words, over the weekend. I had an idea of what I wanted so the best way forward was to get the main tube mounted and work from there.
I use a series of 90 degree and 45 degree bends welded together to create the shape that I want. I tack them together on the vehicle and then remove for welding, when satisfied I then linish out the welds.
For simplicities sake I chose to use a Greens air filter, I have to say that it coped admirably, however I would use a different system for the future which will comprise of standard flat panel filters.
