110 Trayback / Engine positioning
We made the decision to move the engine as far back as possible; as it was a 110 wheel base prop angles were not going to be an issue and the advantages were numerous. It meant that we could use an over sized cooling pack including two large oil coolers and still mount the Warn 8274 winch in a D44 bumper with room to spare. In addition to this it also improved the overall balance of the vehicle.

I took a V8 engine complete with exhaust manifolds and offered it up to the bulk head and then carefully marked the areas that had to be removed.
