 No matter what type of battery you run, keeping it properly charged and maintained is vital to ensure long life and optimum performance.
The charging system on many vehicles is not fully up to the job of replenishing batteries which have been heavily cycled, and over time performance is lost. Even high performance batteries such as the Odyssey range require occasional maintenance to work properly.
The new range of intelligent chargers from Ctek are ideally suited to maintaining, charging and reconditioning a wide range of batteries including AGM, Gel and Lead-Acid.
In addition to normal, stand-alone use, these smart chargers can be permanently installed in a vehicle, boat or caravan and will properly charge connected batteries using an electronically controlled 4 or 6 stage process. The chargers can even be left connected for months at a time to float-charge batteries so they are instantly available when you need them. Special recovery modes are also included on the chargers to help recover sulphated and damaged batteries.
