Im looking for ideas for where to attach my waffles on my 90 CSW

Already got a set which sit either on the bonnet or on the top of the cage depending on the site,
now my partner bought me a set of waffle board holders so i want to use them for a second set
of waffles... Do i put them on the back simular to the D44 trucks (we dont use a back door in comp)
or inside somewhere?

Cheers Cj

i have my holders on the back in place of the tail gate it looks good and they fit there just right i have put a bar through with a padlock each side just to stop them from getting nicked. just like the D44 trucks.

For Ladoga I replaced the rear door of my hardtop with an upper and lower tailgate from a Series.  On the lower I mounted 2 supports for waffles, worked a treat, only made the tailgate a bit heavy, especially with waffles that had just been used.

My waffle storage system is not used but a Defender....but it could be. I had these mounting post on the side of my 130 rear cab and kept them when I sold it. Now they live on the Discovery's roofrack for quick and easy deployment.

The Red straps are for easier location/extraction from the sand.

Mine are here,  but if you have side windows and a cage, it might not be as easy! Although, having them on the side of the motor is a very handy place so id say try and find a way of fitting the holders to the side of the cage, job done!

What ced's one? Ye, but the original question said that he had been bought a set of holders, ced's ones are pretty niffty custom made things so i was just saying that waffles are very handy on the side of the motor so he should find a way of fitting his shiny new holders onto his cage!  Tongue

P.s. original post was ages ago, did you ever get it sorted?!
