Hi, need  some help with spring choice for RRC used for trials...
looking for a set of rear springs, not to stiff, still flexible, (will only use D44 or OME)
had a set of either 763 or 764 many years ago but hese were a bit to stiff
Will probably use 12 spring spacer, 1" taller spring (which one) +5 shocks pin/pin with repositioned bracket.
Dislocation is not an option. so any ideas on springs

19mm rose joints are abit on the small side and unless you buy good quality ones they wont last 5 minutes, we ran a 3 link with the A frame on the bottom to get around the engine, with the single joint at the chassis end on the mitsimog, worked very well and gave us some serious articulation.

The Sgt Rock vehicle looks like it will be a capable vehicle once it is finished with mudguards, mud flaps and the other speed event and safety equipment fitted. Interesting concept to combine Comp Safari and Challenge event vehicles into 1 event - 2 very different vehicle designs and capability constraints. The event itself is ground dependant - Sidbury Hill is a fast area and the checkpoints were mainly out in the open and not really in a " challenge event" position. However the tracks and routes between checkpoints were straight forward allowing both vehicle types to travel at speed. The one problem I can see is that challenge event vehicles are just not designed for speed - high C of G, tall tyres and wrong gearing. I do think that regardless of terrain, Comp vehicles will always have the upper hand unless the terrain used to hold the event has no tracks or navigation routes that cannot be shown on a map of photo.

A Buddhist monk goes into a (vegetarian) burger bar and says “Make me one with everything”. He hands over a £20 note and after waiting a while, says “What about my change?” The guy behind the counter says... “Change comes from within."

t4 is landrover diag computer it will show turbo boost on real time display i have one so if ur around stanstead airport area i can do it

Thanks for the offer, I'm a little far away though - Cornwall to be exact Grin

The set up on this turbo is exactly the same as the other one. The stem from the valve on the replacement turbo is the same length as the one that came off.
