Well ......

Having seen the video below ....

Newark Off Road CourseLQ | LQ+ | HQ | by Aeva

I thought this matter needed further investigation

OH DEAR !!

If this the best they can do for the advertised "purpose built off-road course",

(The average family salon car could easily negotiate it !!!!, with out getting stuck or damaging body work........)

One has to ask the question ...

What's the rest of it going to be like???

There is a big pile of plastic buckets, are these the toilet facilities Huh

I think I will stick with billing  Wink

P.s

Why is LANDROVER LAX using a Video of billing to advertise there show?

They are at Newark..........  not Billing !

From what I've heard this video was posted on youtube by someone with a vested interest.

There is another video doing the rounds known as New Ark which I think is really scraping the barrel on the organisers part.

After much thought we've booked Billing again for this year. I wish LRM the best at Newark and may even head up for a day but so far their list of stands doesn't make me want to spend the weekend there.

Yes Billing has it's faults but I feel there will always be a land rover show there until it closes. We've been going most years for the last ten years through various different magazines so just cause LRM are moving we decided not to, we didn't move with the last crowd either !! Grin

Yet more smear campaigning and mud-slinging (and not even the good kind).

When will everyone realise how boring / annoying / frustrating / damaging all this nonsense is to the whole Land Rover community.

There are two shows...  everyone needs to deal with it.   It's a crappy situation, created for no good reason...  but nonetheless it is the situation, and the various protaganists who seem intent on peddling disinformation and bad feeling are helping nobody.

Have to agree Tim the videos are a bit childish judging by the fact that most people I've talked to have their mind made up and that is due to, for the most part the list of traders at each show

P.S having seen your new one in Belgium 4 weeks ago, even in its current state it should cope easily with the Newark course, you'll just have to pedal it around ( like Fred Flintstone Smiley   )
