Hello

I have a warn 9.5 ti and It is getting a bit stiff, freel spool etc. so have opened it up and giving it a good clean. salt air up here is a killer.
Is there anything i shoule check or change as it is split up?

Just make sure there are no scores on the gearbox housing or rust on the sliding gear. If there is, then they need to be cleaned off and do not grease them after as this will cause them to drag and freespooling will be affected. Also check that the brake assembly is free and be carefull when doing up the solenoid cover as the threads will strip very easily

Cheers for that.
The drum had a wee bit but cleaned up fine. used a good amount of grease when reasssembling it. The freel spool handle was gummed up where the securing screw goes in. all free and clean now.
cheers for the advice. will keep an eye when tighting up the screws on the solinoid.
