Some informations:
Scrutineering: 26th June Race: 27th June - 6th July
about 1250km of racing on multiple terrains: sand, tank tracks, mud hole, forest, rivers, etc....
a good navigator is essential
average attendance is about: 100 bikes, 30 quads, 45 trucks, 140 cars.
Gilles Girousse (the man from the french Xtrem challenge) is usually coordinating the french registration, but he has been asked to help the Brits !!!
more information to come
he mentioned 1880Euros registration fees (food inclusive), but I'm not sure what it includes exactly.

is running a nice suspension (shocks) setup, only needs a bit of tweaking.
Good luck for them!

Was there for the whole race. What an experience!! Great organisation, fantastic spirit, a real adventure, nice to see a strong LandRover presence doing well. Some very standard cars but also some top notch preparations. The trucks were just awesome! It's about time the Brits went and tried this one. This would be right up your street Simon. Speed, navigation, some mud , some water . Great bivouacs with plenty of time to meet the other European competitors. Thanks to Gilles from the French Extreme for introducing us to Henrick and Frantz. And a great thanks to all the Team from the Breslau Organisation for a brilliant event.

Been following this with interest on "offroadforum.de". Looks great and with any luck we might give it a go next year. At 1800 Euros entry we might have to seek some proper sponsorship though!

and one of my best friend (from France) is running 8th... they finished 26th overall... after moving up, becoming 1st french team and.... ripping the rear axle during the last section... The A-frame ball joint snapped, rear prop followed, etc, etc.. The car seemed very competive, but the suspension was not right (too soft)
