Hi Pete, I used to always tow to events, including the Iron Man which was in Inverness, I can tow just as fast as my lorry, I prefer the lorry because it's less of a white knuckle ride. :lol:  :lol:

I agree I don't know why all the events are down south. Even north wales would be better.

Daft thing is we have plenty of sites you could run one dayers on up here.

fancy doing the same trip with a trailer pulled by a Tdi Disco? Not including ferry time and rest stops Three Peaks took me 18hrs and 150 ltrs of derv each way  :cry:  :cry:

my point being that i have to consider travelling time when looking at one day events!
