Hi Redwine,
Now just you love it when people don't pay attention!!!

I will say this one more time!!!

The land is much more open, thinned pine forest & moorland so the chances of body damage are virtually nil!

However, please remember the team organising this event have a complete year of pent up frustration, anger and bitterness and are looking for some high octane stress relief.

This, as always, will happen while watching the poor unfortunates attempting the impossibly difficult sections created by the bitter & twisted minds of the organisers.

The gently cruise through the woods as envisioned for the Tay Trophy (RIP) will/have been transformed into a combination of death valley, hell's kitchen & BB ( Bottomless Bog!).

So come on Mike, step up to the plate and get your entry in!
You must enter to start and, in your case, to even be considered!!

Remember, I have seen you drive in the wake of the unstopable Portal Bob!!

Andy Thomlinson.

Peat(soggygrass)bog,
It may be soggy grass to the rest of us but it will always be a bog to you!

Even those with a perfect attendance record, and little else I might add, are not always guaranteed a place.

Especially if they make a miserable attempt at trying to get into my mindset!

I could have said mind but that would have been pushing it!

You really would not want to go there - believe me!

Mike, you have nothing to fear but fear itself - a word of advice - under no circumstances use PB as any sort of role model and if you were to aspire to his level it would be a steep downhill decent of the slippery slope!!!

Oh, and watch out for those nasty trees that jump out in front of you in those transit sections.

Andy's right Mike, use me as any kind of role model and you're f*cked! not advised Smiley

BTW Andy - 'twas Dave who attacked the tree, not me. or can you not tell us apart cos you have you altitude sickness from sitting in your gangly girraffe of a RR for too long?  Tongue  Tongue  Cheesy

I have just received official notification from the Register of Births, Deaths and Marriages for Scotland that the Organisers of the TFC have been awarded temporary annulment of parental nuptials for the period 1 April to 1st Sept 2007.

In addition we have instituted a motivational scheme to encourage the section setters.  Similar to Club-card points we are now being awarded Basturd points (BP) which are to be collected and tallied up at the end of the competition and a prize awarded to the person who has collected the most.  For example, deliberately felling a 90cm diameter tree directly across the intended path of a section is worth 10BP whilst directing traffic into the bottomless pits of Hell will attract 500BP.

Current standings based on current plans

Andy T -5230BP
Colin M - 3386.5BP
Richard D - 1087BP
Andy P - 3BP

I have been asked to correct the BP league taking catering standards into account.

Andy T -5230BP
Colin M - 3386.5BP
Richard D - 3087BP
Ewart H - 375BP (Asst Scruter/Snr Marshal - late start)
Andy P - 3BP

Note to self.  Must try harder

Hi all!

Keen to take on the Tay Forest but we are looking for a another vehicle to team up with, is there anyone else in the same boat??

Got a decent enough truck, what we lack in experience we make up for with stupidity   !

Would be good to hear from anyone interested!
