Range Rover Bobtail / Later Developments
In 2001 whilst pushing for the lead we broke both front CV’s (driver error) relegating us to third overall, in 2002 we finally won the RFC (widely considered the pinnacle of off road events) and are still the only team from the northern hemisphere to have won the event.
2004 saw us taking on the Outback Challenge in Australia, we finished 11th overall, the highest placed international team and the first international team to complete the event without outside assistance.
The Rangie has since been sold to a good friend of mine as a rolling chassis and will be used in further international competitions.
