Range Rover Bobtail / Front wheel arches
Now it was the turn of the front body work to receive some re working. I was planning to relocate the batteries inside the vehicle; this in turn would allow us to alter the angle of the front inner wheel arch. I wanted to lift the front of the inner arch so that it mirrored the rear part of the arch giving a lot more clearance for wheel travel. The other important mod in this area is to remove the proud join/seam in front of the foot well, left un removed it will destroy the tyres. It is simply a case of cutting off the offending join and re welding with a piece of folded steel.
