Range Rover Bobtail / Rear Chassis Frame
Next up was to re build the rear chassis; I cut off the chassis rails from the inner X member and then added my new sections of box. I also wanted to incorporate a rear winch so I used part of a Defender front bumper to house the winch. The rear X member was cut and shaped from another piece of box section, and then the letter box was cut for the winch rope along with a hole for the free spool lever. Once in place gussets were added for additional strength.
