110 Trayback / Engine Build
During a build a big as this there is always various jobs taking place out of sequence and this project was no exception. Martin was tasked with the engine rebuild, I wanted a 4.6V8 and I had a 4.0lt, what I also had was a 4.6 with a suspect block so we took the crank rods and pistons from the 4.6 had the crank reground, re ringed the pistons and then fitted them to my 4.0lt block, now we had a 4.6. The heads were skimmed and ported and we fitted a Kent cam (H 180 B) and a set of Rhodes lifters, the last job was to get the ECU re mapped. I estimate that we now have between 260 and 270 bhp.
