110 Trayback / Main Tray Structure
I decided that the tray would be 17 inches longer than a 90 tub (roughly the extra length of the 110 wheel base) to give it a nice visual balance, what I wasn’t sure of was how wide to make it. To give me a guide we created a mock up using some pre bent tube and an over sized tyre. (At this point we hadn’t decided which tyres to use
We made the tray back outer in one piece, this was one of the most difficult and time consuming jobs that we had done to date it took Cookie and I about six hours to complete including the notching for the joins to the roll cage. To aid the bending we marked graduations along the tube which can be seen in some of the pictures.
Once we were satisfied with the outer tube we could add the main supports for the bed, this is a fairly straight forward job and very satisfying once complete.
