110 Trayback / Rear winch cradle
The next job was to fit the rear X member/winch mount, Matt had drawn this up some days ago and had had it laser cut and bent. Made from two sections of 5mm plate welded together on the face to give us a 10mm winch mount more than ample for the job in hand. Although it looks quite straight forward these jobs always seem to take an eternity if you want it to look right.
Once we were satisfied that it was lined up correctly it was welded in place and the recovery points were put in place. The recovery points are made out of 20mm stainless bar. Once completed we could fit the spring mounts which are now from a 90, we used the genuine article to ensure it had the strength required.
